Dr. Alaina

Veterinarian

Dr. Alaina grew up in St. Paul and attended St. Kate's University where she received a Bachelor's degree in Biology. Soon after, she moved to a the Caribbean island of Grenada and attended St. George's University. There, she obtained her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. During her final year of veterinary school she completed clinical rotations at the University of Minnesota. Previous to Mission Animal Hospital, she completed a one year rotating internship in small animal surgery and medicine at Blue Pearl Specialty and Emergency Hospital in New York City. Dr. Alaina enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine but has a strong interest in emergency and critical care. In her spare time she enjoys taking her cat Taco traveling and exploring new places. Taco is a well-traveled cat who has been to multiple states and countries. When not traveling or at the hospital she can often be found in the kitchen trying out new baking recipes.
