Mission has been training future veterinary professionals in the practice of Spectrum of Care medicine since 2020. We know that by naming, identifying and teaching the Spectrum of Care approach to veterinary medicine, we can influence the next generation of veterinarians to practice in a community-centric way that increases the accessibility of veterinary medicine on a broad scale.

Veterinary Technician Internships

We offer hands-on internship and externship opportunities for veterinary technician students at various stages of their academic program. Depending on where students are in their program, they may participate in either an internship or externship designed to build clinical and technical skills.

 

Students will gain experience in our appointment, urgent care, and surgery departments while working alongside experienced technicians and veterinarians in a fast paced, multi service program.

Veterinary Student Externships

We offer an informal two-week externship program, unpaid, open to senior veterinary students attending an AVMA-accredited university for rotation credit with skills training and hands-on case-based learning in a busy, multi-service, high-quality nonprofit hospital.
