Volunteer Spotlight: Snow
We're highlighting some of our incredible volunteers during Volunteer Appreciation Week, and we want you to meet Snow! Snow comes to volunteer at Mission Animal Hospital weekly to help out in our treatment rooms. Get to know her and why she volunteers here at Mission!
What made you choose to volunteer with Mission Animal Hospital?
I chose to volunteer with Mission Animal Hospital because of the values and mission to provide affordable care to every patient.
What is your favorite part about volunteering with Mission Animal Hospital?
My favorite part about volunteering with Mission Animal Hospital is seeing the patients!
What do you do when you're not volunteering with us?
I am a full-time student at the University of Minnesota. I am also a student worker at the Dairy Barn Research Center on campus and a part-time vet assistant. I love to downhill ski in the winter and go hiking in the summer.
Do you have any pets of your own?
Black lab mix named Aspyn!
Tell me about a pet that had a big impact on your life.
My first pet ever was a Jack Russell Terrier mix named Fiona. I begged for a puppy for years and she was my 11th birthday present. She taught me how to love unconditionally and was a very special part of my life.
