La cirugía se realiza bajo anestesia general. Cada uno de nuestros paquetes de anestesia incluye un análisis de sangre inicial que ayuda a mitigar el riesgo anestésico y las complicaciones de la enfermedad. Su mascota es monitoreada cuidadosa y constantemente de principio a fin por nuestro equipo de veterinarios, técnicos veterinarios autorizados y asistentes. 


Hacer una cita quirúrgica

La misión requiere un examen prequirúrgico previo a la programación a través de nuestro Servicio de Cirugía General. En esta cita, nuestros veterinarios realizan un examen completo de su mascota y analizan con usted las opciones quirúrgicas, los costos y el cuidado posoperatorio needed para tu mascota en el hospital y en casa. 


Si decide seguir adelante con la cirugía, trabajará con nuestro equipo para programarla. El día del procedimiento de su mascota, la dejará 30 minutos antes de que abra el hospital y será puesta al cuidado de nuestro equipo dedicado y compasivo. Se le pedirá que complete un formulario de consentimiento de anestesia y que firme el presupuesto antes de la cirugía. Una vez que se complete el procedimiento de su mascota, el veterinario se comunicará con usted con cualquier actualización e instrucciones de alta. Podrás recoger a tu mascota el mismo día.

Making a Surgical Appointment

Mission requires a pre-surgical examination prior to scheduling through our General Surgery Service, with the exception of spays and neuters for pets under one year of age, but over 16 weeks of age and weighing at least two pounds.* At this appointment, our veterinarians perform a thorough examination of your pet and discuss with you the surgical options, costs, and post-operative care needed for your pet in the hospital and at home. 


If you decide to move forward with surgery, you’ll work with our team to schedule it. On the day of your pet’s procedure, you will drop off your pet 30 minutes prior to hospital opening and they will be placed into the care of our dedicated and compassionate team. You will be required to complete an anesthesia consent form as well as sign off on the estimate prior to surgery. Once your pet’s procedure is complete, the veterinarian will contact you with any updates and discharge instructions. You will be able to pick up your pet the same day.

*At this time, Mission Animal Hospital is piloting direct scheduling of spays and neuters for pets under one year of age, but over 16 weeks of age and weighing at least two pounds. The pre-operative examination is recommended for these patients but is no longer required to schedule a spay or neuter.

    Yes, there will be a seated meal plus appetizers. Vegan/vegetarian, gluten free, and nut-free options will be available upon request with your ticket. ​ Choose from the following meal options with your ticket: Short Rib of Beef, Sweet Balsamic Glaze, Parmesan Risotto, Brussels Sprouts - (Gluten-free) Salmon, Crème Fraiche Yukon Gold Potato Purée, Herb Pesto, Shaved Asparagus-Arugula Salad - (Gluten-free) Cauliflower Steak, Red Quinoa, Cilantro Pesto, Coconut Cauliflower Purée, Chili Oil - (Gluten-free, Dairy-free, Vegan)

    While there will be dogs and cats at the event, please leave your own pet at home for the evening.

    Yes. Mission Animal Hospital is a 501c3 nonprofit recognized by the IRS. Your ticket is tax deductible above the fair market value of your ticket. The Fair Market Value of a general admission ticket is $100, the Fair Market Value of a VIP ticket is $150. Mission Animal Hospital's Federal Tax ID Number is: 47-2606680. By supporting Mission Animal Hospital, you're helping make an important difference in the lives of families with pets. Pets are part of our family, and deserve quality compassionate care, regardless of a family's financial circumstance. Your support will help provide critical veterinary care to more than 25,000 pets and their families this year. With your help, Mission Animal Hospital will be able to provide subsidized care, and make necessary it possible for families to keep their beloved fur family where it belongs — at home. A $225 General Admission Ticket helps one Mission Program client access the care their pet needs. A $350 VIP Ticket subsidizes an urgent care physical exam for 12 pets. A $2250 Premium Table for ten provides 40 spay or neuter surgeries and prevent 1,200 unwanted cats and dogs A $3500 VIP Table provides emergency life-saving procedures for up to 6 pets Your ticket purchase and donation will make a huge impact on pets and people! Our research shows that for every $1 contributed to Mission Animal Hospital, your donation will have a projected $4.64 in social value, generated through improved health and quality of life for the pet owner.
  • Who are the pets featured in the event invitation and website?
    The artistic drawings featured in the "Raise the Woof" 2023 logo are detailed hand drawings of pets who were especially meaningful to two of our supporters. Willie, is a terrier who passed in 2022, was part of Lollie and Alan Eidsness's family. He was a feisty fella who lived a long and happy life with Lollie and Alan. Zipper was a rescue cat who became especially meaningful to his adopted family at Pet Haven pet rescue. Nominated by Kerry D'Amato, Zipper was a beautiful cat who left us too soon. Mission Animal Hospital commissioned artist and Mission veterinary assistant McKenzie Eggersgluss to create beautiful detailed drawings of these special pets. Discounts associated with Mission Program, if applicable, are made possible by and fluctuate with the level of donated contributions received - which may change the discounted rates that you see reflected on your final invoice. The price range reflected in this estimate prior to any discounts is valid for 30 days. After 30 days, the range is subject to adjustment and/or Mission may require a recheck appointment be scheduled to update best recommendations for your pet.

Payment will be due at the time of service in accordance with our Financial Policy.
