Highlights include a signature runway show, fund-a-need, and silent and live auctions featuring destinations, tasty cuisine, sporting events, and goods and services to spoil your pet, and more.

 • Raising $500,000 for Mission Animal Hospital to help pets in need

 • We also seek product donations for our silent auction

Question 2

Community Outdoor Event: Mission Paw-looza

Accepted Answer

This is our second year of this community-centered event will include a fun run/walk and "Barking Lot" carnival with games, vendors, food trucks, and stage performances. It is family and pet friendly, and will be a fun event to raise money for pets in need.

Question 3

Give to the Max Day, November 2023

Accepted Answer

This is Minnesota’s day of giving each November, and Mission has always had a presence on Give to the Max Day. Your sponsorship can help leverage other donors to Mission by creating a challenge match. Your company’s name and logo would be included on each email and social media post about Give to the Max Day, going to more than 7,000 recipients.

Question 4

Tails from Mission Newsletter

Accepted Answer

Our monthly email newsletter “Tails from Mission” features heartwarming stories from the hospital, information for pet owners on timely topics like “Your Pet and Heat” “Heartworm Awareness Month” or “Cats and Lilies Don’t Mix,” upcoming events, and other opportunities. You can sponsor this newsletter to include your company logo at the bottom of each issue. 
 • Sent 10-12 times per year
 • Option to include sponsored content that would continue to live on our blog
 • Distributed to 7,000+ email boxes each month
 • Audience includes pet owners, Mission clients, donors, and supporters
 • Open rates averaging 15-20% (meeting industry standards)
 • Sponsorships start at $250/issue

Question 5

Staff Apparel

Accepted Answer

Mission’s 50+ vet techs, vet assistants and customer service specialists wear standard organization-branded apparel daily. The organization provides a  stipend for staff to purchase apparel a few times per year. You can sponsor staff apparel by providing T-shirts or sweatshirts to all staff. Designs can vary within branding restrictions, and could include your company logo in a secondary location to the Mission logo. 
 • Sponsorships start at $1,500 and can be individually negotiated.

Question 6

Staff Appreciation Week/Employee of the Month

Accepted Answer

Mission would not be possible without our amazing staff. Each year we honor our employees through an Employee of the Month program and a Staff Appreciation Week. You can sponsor these activities by sponsoring gifts of appreciation for our employees, which could include lunch delivered, pet-themed gifts, thank you cards, etc. 
 • More than 70 staff 
 • Special recognition weeks of Customer Service Appreciation and Vet Tech Week in October
 • Monthly employee recognition

Question 7

Pet Tips Video Series

Accepted Answer

With sponsor support, Mission will launch a brand new video series, to be posted to our social media accounts, website, and email, featuring 1-5 minute video interviews with a staff veterinarian. In each video, we will highlight common questions and provide information to pet owners about caring for their pet. Videos will have a long shelf life and be shareable. 
 • Distributed on all communications platforms, reaching at last 15,000
 • Sponsorships start at $2,500 for a series of videos

Question 8

High-Quality/High-Volume Spay/Neuter Events

Accepted Answer

Mission Animal Hospital works with over 100 rescue organizations, helping prepare pets for adoption with necessary veterinary care, including spay/neuter procedures. Once per month, Mission organizes a High-Quality, High-Volume (HQHV) Spay/Neuter Day, where our veterinary teams will spay and neuter up to 30-40 pets awaiting adoption. 
 • Mission has been hosting HQHV days since 2019
 • Reach Midwest rescue organization and their foster families
 • 12 HQHV days offered per year
 • Sponsorship is  $2,500 per day

Question 9

Furry Friday Social Media Series

Accepted Answer

Each Friday, Mission features a “Furry Friday” story of a pet who has received care at our hospital. The stories range from pets who come in with life-threatening conditions and receive critical care, to those with chronic conditions where we can educate our followers about living with pets with chronic conditions, to new puppies and kittens getting their first rounds of vaccinations. Each post features an adorable picture of the pet, and a narrative about them. Your sponsorship will feature your company name and/or @tag in each post. 
 • Goes out to more than 10,000 followers each week
 • Sponsorships start at $2,500 for 12 weeks.

Question 10

Retail Cause-Related Marketing Opportunities

Accepted Answer

Businesses with consumer facing elements can provide unique support for Mission within their own activities! Consider:
 • Donating a percentage of your sales for a certain time period to Mission Animal Hospital
 • Conduct a paper pawprint sale with your customers (eg. Purchase a pre-printed paper pawprint for $10, and it is posted on your storefront wall through the campaign period, with proceeds going to Mission Animal Hospital)
 • Conduct a “round-up” campaign with your customers. 
Mission will support your activities by providing images, talking points, collateral material and signage. Mission will also meet with your team members to provide them training and talking points about Mission Animal Hospital.

New Pet Parent Packets

Accepted Answer

We often see clients with newly adopted pets, some who are new to pet parenting! Whether it is an adult dog or a puppy, or a full grown cat, or a kitten, we provide these new pet parents with a welcome kit with key information they need to know for a lifetime of health with their new pet. 
 • Provided to hundreds of new pet parents each year. 
 • Sponsorship is $2,500 per year
