Our team of veterinarians are proud to offer an extensive list of routine, elective and urgent surgeries, including but not limited to:

  • Spays and Neuters

  • Dental cleaning and extractions

  • Intestinal foreign-body removal

  • Mass removal

  • Laceration repair, and other wound care

  • Splenectomies (removal of the spleen)

  • Cystotomy (bladder stone removal)

Surgery is performed under general anesthesia. Each of our anesthesia packages includes baseline bloodwork which helps to mitigate anesthetic risk and disease complication. Your pet is carefully and consistently monitored from start to finish by our team of caring veterinarians, licensed veterinary technicians and assistants.

Making a Surgical Appointment

Mission requires a pre-surgical examination prior to scheduling through our General Surgery Service. At this appointment, our veterinarians perform a thorough examination of your pet and discuss with you the surgical options, costs, and post-operative care needed for your pet in the hospital and at home.

If you decide to move forward with surgery, you’ll work with our team to schedule it. On the day of your pet’s procedure, you will drop off your 30 minutes prior to hospital opening and they will be placed into the care of our dedicated and compassionate team. You will be required to complete an anesthesia consent form as well as sign off on the estimate prior to surgery. Once your pet’s procedure is complete, the veterinarian will contact you with any updates and discharge instructions. You will be able to pick up your pet the same day.

Common Surgical Services Pricing

We offer a two-tier pricing model, with our “Mission Program” reduced-fee prices available to those that meet the income qualifications. Since March 2020, we have extended our Mission Program pricing to those that have been financially impacted by the economic realities of COVID-19.

Any procedure estimated to total over $400 in cost requires a $100 deposit at the time of scheduling the surgical appointment. Your deposit will be applied toward the total procedure cost. We require that half of the procedure estimate be paid prior to the surgery. Flexible payment plans are available for the remainder of the cost.
